Maryville School Visit
Today I had the honor of being asked by Miss Paigelyn Adams, along with her grandmother City Councilwoman Peggy Wayne, to speak to the third grade classes at Maryville Elementary School.
Students from Mrs. Ellis, Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. McCarley and Mrs. Ward's classes were in attendence. Mrs. Wayne talked about City government and how it works and I talked about State goverment. After each session students asked questions. All of the students were very attentive and had great questions. I was also impressed with the knowledge everyone had on state issues and especially the state symbols.
Thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity to be with you. I wish each of you the very best and keep up the good work!
PS- Don't forget to vote in the Kids Voting with your parents in November!
