Career Day at Maryville School

This week I had the privilege of participating in Career Day at Maryville School. Many of the students had studied the history of South Carolina and were very well versed in the symbols and emblems of the state, as well as, knowledge of federal and state government.

We had a great time discussing the history of our flag, our state motto "While I breath, I hope" and many other

facts about South Carolina.

Congratulations to Maryville Elementary School for a successful day and my thanks to all for asking me to be a part of this experience.

There are many young leaders at MES who will go on to make a difference in our community and state in the future.
